Ok, FIRST YOU MUST EXIT AIM by right clicking
on that icon and Exiting.
Now you download Resource Hacker by clicking HERE.
You will need winzip
to open this.
Go to File, and then Open.
Go to My Computer > C Drive > Program Files > AIM95 ( or whatever file
your AIM is in ). Find AimRes.dll, and Open it.
As you see on the left, there are many files, open GIFDATA > 103 > 1033
Go to Action, and then Replace other Resource.
Click on Open file with new resource.
Choose the image that you want to replace your Aim Logon Image. This image must
be a .GIF and 190x150. You can find hundreds of them here.
Now fill in the boxes Resource Type, Resource Name, and Resource Language according
to the image above. And then press Replace.
Go to File and then Save. Now open AIM and you will see your new image!
IF YOU GET AN ERROR OR IT DOESN'T WORK, YOU MUST HAVE FORGOTTEN TO EXIT AIM!!!
